FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS…
Donald Pennyfeather and Millie Alvarez are a husband-and-wife team that created D&M Catering LLC in January 2014. D&M Catering LLC was exclusively a catering company until they were presented with the opportunity to become the food and beverage operations for the Penderbrook’s Golf Club restaurant named Mulligans Pub On The Green. D&M Catering began operations in March 2020 during the COVID pandemic.
Mulligans Pub On The Green (OTG) is located in the heart of the Penderbrook Golf Community in Fairfax, Virginia.
Donald is Mulligans’ Executive Chef and General Manager with over 4 decades of culinary and restaurant management experience. Donald is very passionate about good flavorful food. He is a former USMC, he honors the services by displaying various artifacts of the USA military services and always wearing a USMC lid. Millie is a Government Contractor and works behind the scenes on all Mulligans’ backend operations including HR, Accounts Payable and Payroll. She is passionate about great flavors in food and wines. Donald and her have collaborated on many recipes and she specializes in special dietary food.
Mulligans Pub OTG is a public restaurant available to golf club members, non-members, and overall public. Donald and Millie’s objective is to make Mulligans the neighborhood favorite spot, where you can stop by for meal with friends and family to celebrate special occasions, or just because. We host all type of events big and small, such as bridal and baby showers, weddings, birthdays, or any occasion. Mulligans is well known for the fresh seafood dishes, scrumptious burgers, excellent Prime Rib, freshly prepared fruit cobblers, homemade soups, delicious sandwiches, and the family atmosphere.
